Incredible to think Connie was only 28 here. He had the assurance & commanding presence of a much older actor…and he somehow makes us take him seriously, even in that ridiculous getup.

He looks excellent. His talent is such that he completely embodies any role he plays, so the authority he’s conveying is entirely believable, which is actually one of the hardest things to put forward as an actor - so many overstate it and make it ridiculous or silly. I can just imagine him saying something like; 

‘I bless this congregation of fangirls and vow to continue to enrich their daily doings and goings with my artistry and talent. May you all have a pleasant evening.’
