I like to think that the kittens from his hair moved into Robert’s hair when Simon decided to go for the chop, and only now has Simon realised that those days of kitten-related tea parties, pressing their foreheads together over the table to allow the kittens to mingle and frolic in their crimped locks are lost to him…
