I love how so many of the chaps in WWI pictures have linked arms, it’s adorable. Also, in this one, their completely disparate reactions to being photographed is hilarious. One has a full-blown case of the Pilot Smoulders, the other looks like he doesn’t trust the camera at all and would quite like to be elsewhere.
